I Am

I am the icy cold wind
that prickles your spine
on a hot summer day

I am the old woman
across the street,
so much knowledge
but no one to listen

I am the frustrated child
eager to learn
trying to understand life
but no one to tell me

at night,
I am the feline
hiding in the shadow
listening to all the secrets
invisible to all outsiders

at day,
I am the canine
eager for love and attention
but I look around
and there's no one to give it

They call me by many names.

I put my brain droppings here. It's like a buffet. Remember to take your antacid pills.

Note: the old dates are approximate as I did not put dates on things back then they were just assigned page numbers.
